Peter ran a successful entertainment company and bouncy castle hire hire operation for almost twenty years and was a founder member of the BIHA and the NAIH. He served on the NAIH committee for two years but resigned his post when he purchased Inflated News.
Following his purchase of Inflated News he was asked to continue to attend PIPA meetings and he agreed on the understanding that he would remain independent and therefore be able to ask any questions on behalf of any sector of the inflatable play industry.
As the magazine circulation increased it was obvious that there was a need to get breaking news to the masses as quickly as possible. The web site has become an integral part of the magazine and continues to be developed.
Unfortunately the magazine has been taken out of circulation due to lack of support from manufacturers
In 2009 Peter launched INPAS Expo & Trade Show and this has already become a feature on the industry calendar
Peter is a qualified PIPA inspector and tutor.
There are more plans for the future.
Grand Affairs Group has been involved in the entertainment industry since 1977 and has a number of divisions
Following a hugely successful inflatable hire business from 1989 to 2003 and following some ill health Peter decided to move into the safety and advisory side of the business after seeing a number of new start ups get into difficulties with the lack of good information easily available.
In June 2007 he came up with The Inflatable Play Enterprise (TIPE) as a subscription service. The advances in Social Media has led to an unprecedented amount of incorrect information being seen
Following an official launch at LIW in 2007 TIPE has gone from strength to strength and has produced many Information Sheets to date on a variety of relevant subjects.
TIPE does not tell any individual how to run their business but produces honest factual advice in order that Operators can make informed decisions on what is best for their business.
